I’m Lucy,

a 19-year-old filmmaker and photographer based in Richmond, Texas. My love for storytelling started with my dad, who works in audio and visual production. Growing up surrounded by his cameras, tripods, and editing gear sparked my fascination with how technology can capture emotion and tell stories that make people feel. That early influence shaped the creative heart I have today.

For me, film and photography are more than art forms. They are ways to share emotion, perspective, and faith. My work blends film and photography to tell stories that feel cinematic yet deeply personal. I’m drawn to the small, meaningful details, the way light falls, a fleeting expression, or the quiet in-between moments that often say the most. Whether I’m directing a short film or capturing a candid photo, I love turning real experiences into visuals that connect people.

Beyond the camera, my faith plays a huge part in who I am. I’m a worship leader at my church, and I find so much joy in using my voice to connect with others and glorify God through music. When I’m not filming or editing, you’ll probably find me singing, hanging out with my friends, or watching movies. Wicked is my current favorite, and I’m counting down the days until the “For Good” movie releases.

At heart, I’m still a theatre kid. I spent all of high school immersed in performance, storytelling, and creative collaboration. That experience taught me how powerful it is to bring stories to life, whether on stage or on screen.

Each project I take on is a new chance to grow, learn, and connect with others who share a love for creativity. For me, creating isn’t just about producing films or photos. It’s about crafting experiences that inspire, move, and remind us what it means to feel, to remember, and to see the world a little differently.
